''Long Rock'' is a small village in Cornwall, UK. Long Rock currently falls within the parish boundaries of Ludgvan and is situated about 2 miles from the town of Penzance. Long Rock is also the home to a number of large industrial parks and retail developments which serve nearby Penzance and the surrounding area. 1 mile to the northeast are the smaller villages of Ludgvan and Crowlas, and half a mile to the northwest lies the village of Gulval.
Long Rock lies on the edge of Mount's Bay, a spectacular bay often voted amongst the 'top ten natural views' in international surveys. The bay is skirted with beaches and small coves - Long Rock itself is situated at the centre of a three-mile beach popular with tourists which runs from Penzance to Marazion. (en.wikipedia.org)
